Razor and barbed wire toppings raise the delay-to-entry of a completed perimeter. The range covers barbed wire, BTO-22 razor tape, concertina coils, spike toppings and Y-arm brackets for airport-style perimeters, mounted above 358 anti-climb or 2D 4/6/4 welded mesh. Toppings are specified from the site risk assessment: the mounting arm, the number of coils and the fixing detail follow the fence system and the height already agreed. All coil sizes, wire gauges and arm geometry are confirmed per project drawing, and toppings are supplied together with the panels, posts and gates so the perimeter is one coordinated package. Listed concertina blade types are BTO-10, 12, 18, 22, 28 and 30 and CBT-60 or 65; the source gives barb spacing of 7.5–15 cm. This is a topping rather than a fence panel. Identify the existing support arm and the intended restricted boundary before specifying the wire or coil.

Wire and blade toppings reinforce vulnerable edges and increase the time needed to cross a perimeter. Clear CCTV sightlines support early detection and give responders more time to act; the final specification is confirmed per drawing.
